If you're hankering for some good ol' American Art for free, head to the Whitney! Friday nights from 6-9pm the Whitney offers patrons an opportunity to pay-what-you-wish.This museum is much less crowded than the MOMA during these free events and easy to navigate.
Right now is the perfect time to see some awesome exhibitions, especially the work of William Eggleston:
