I'm not dead broke, but I'll always be thrifty!

When I first moved to New York City from Austin, Texas I got my "Dream Job" in 1 week. Awesome, right? I worked as a personal assistant and earned less than $400/week and was forced to develop some super thrifty habits. I was interviewed in Crain's New York Magazine about my low-cost living tips and struggling in the city. Luckily I don't have to struggle as much as I did then, but I'll always be thrifty.
