Independent Artists-$4 Admission to Whitney 7/4

In Honor of Independence Day, the Whitney Museum of American Art is dropping admission to $4 on the Fourth of July.

Here's just some of the great works on view now.

Regular adult admission to the Museum is $15, though the museum has pay-what-you-wish admission on Friday evenings which is great!
The museum is open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturdays, so you have time to visit just in time for this year's fireworks!

Pay-What-You-Wish at the Whitney

If you're hankering for some good ol' American Art for free, head to the Whitney! Friday nights from 6-9pm the Whitney offers patrons an opportunity to pay-what-you-wish.

This museum is much less crowded than the MOMA during these free events and easy to navigate.

Right now is the perfect time to see some awesome exhibitions, especially the work of William Eggleston:
Democratic Camera, which ends on Jan 25th.
