Pedal for Art & the Environment Tonight!

Hey Guys, if it's free nights at the MOMA + Bikes you can count me in!

Bike to MoMA tonight, April 6 and get half-price admission and free bicycle valet parking! One Monday a month, The Museum of Modern Art stays open until 8:45 p.m. Drop in after hours for exhibitions, films, DJ, cash bar—plus I hear the first 600 ticket buyers after 5:30 p.m. get free admission on their next visit. Hooray!

The evening goes green with free bicycle valet parking courtesy of Transportation Alternatives, New York City's advocate for biking, walking, and public transit. Rain or shine, park your bike (enter on 53 Street) and receive a voucher for half-price Museum admission. Carbon emissions will be offset for the event, and they're raffling off a collapsible, STRiDA 5.0 Bicycle ideal for NYC's urban transport.

Plus with a MOMA ticket you get free access to PS1 Gallery in Queens, just take your ticket stub to PS1 for admission.

The Museum of Modern Art
is located at 11 West 53 Street,
between Fifth and Sixth avenues
New York, NY

See you there!

Bikes, Kites, & Ferries Oh My!

Who doesn't love the sound of a bike ride and then kite flying? Especially in the gorgeous cooler weather we are expecting this weekend.

From Friday, September 19th – Sunday, September 21st: Governors Island is hosting a Free Bike and Kite Weekend!

All weekend, visitors can borrow a bike for up to one hour entirely for free. Free Bike Weekend, like the Free Bike Fridays program on Governors Island, is sponsored by Transportation Alternatives. Bikes are limited and are available on a first come, first served basis. Also, the first 250 visitors each day will be given a kite to fly on the Island’s Parade Ground.

Governors Island always has free admission and is open from 10-5pm on Fridays and 10am-7pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
You can get there via a Free Ferry at the Battery Maritime Building! Enjoy.....
