Attention Cheapskates! Info on Ice Skating in New York City!

Ice skating is probably one of the coolest (literally) and most fun things one can do in the City. It's a great way to get out and enjoy this cold weather and NYC is one of the best places to go ice skating. Sometimes this sport can get a little expensive so I've listed all the spots in the city priced lowest to highest. Get out there and have fun!

1. The Polar Rink at the Natural History Museum

2. Riverbank Ice Skating Rink

Located on the Hudson River at 145th Street

Rolling with the Homies- Robot Chicken on Wheels Party! Tonight 8/13

Ok, can people stop discussing how summer is almost over?? We still have a few weeks of gorgeous NYC summer to enjoy and tonight's event will help to remind you of this fact.

OMG! It's The Robot Chicken on Wheels '09 Tour!
Skate your ass off with Adult Swim show creators Seth Green, Matthew Senreich along with Breckin Meyer and cast and crew. Roller skating, prizes, & fun competitions.

When: August 13th, 8pm-11:00pm
Where: Riverbank State Park
679 Riverside Drive, in Manhattan.
By subway, take the #1 train to 145th street,
and the park's entrance is a block away at 145th and Riverside.
Cost: Free

Be sure to arrive early as this FREE event is 'first come -- first served,' and you won't want to miss the skating chickens, the prizes, the photo booths, or the Special performance by Gym Class Heroes
